Series Detail

Map Readers

This series uses different themes to introduce maps and mapping skills. Each book will look at: why we use maps, how they have been developed over time (including some information about exploration), the different types of maps we use to represent different things, different features that characterize maps (e.g. keys, scales, contour lines), and spreads that include a practical exercise in map-making e.g. map your local area.
